An eye exam for your child allows an optometrist to assess the health of your child’s eyes and their vision. The quick examination and vision screening that your child usually receives at a family doctor is not the same as what your child will receive at the eye doctor’s since only an optometrist has the right training and tools to thoroughly examine your child’s eyes.

In many instances, dry eyes do not require any professional intervention and the condition will go away fairly quickly.
