Patient Care Coordinator
Monday-Friday: 9:00 A.M. - 6:00 P.M.
Saturday: 8:30 A.M. - 12:30 P.M.
Patient Care Coordinator must be able to assist patients in our optometry practice by handling tasks, providing polite and professional assistance in office, via phone, mail, and e-mail, generally being a helpful and positive presence in the workplace.
To be successful as a Patient Care Coordinator,
Checking patients in and out.
Verifying insurance. (medical and vision)
Collecting payments for co-pays and deductibles.
Provide exceptional customer service.
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.

Attention to detail and problems solving skills
Be willing to cross-train in other departments.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment.
Hands on experience with office machines (e.g. computer, fax, printers, multi-line phone).
One year of experience in customer service and a medical office setting is required.
